BEFORE
AFTER
Above is a screen shot of the website when I started at Mission Dolores Academy. A WordPress site, it had been neglected as there was no one on staff who was trained in WordPress. It was not being backed up, the calendar plug-in was broken, it got hacked and had advertisements running across the top. We had no budget for the site, so I garnered free support from my colleagues and my son to fix it. I was thrilled when we were given the go-ahead, and money in the budget, to re-design the site.
After we completed a re-branding project and gained approval to hire a website developer, we were able to take the site to a more modern look with actual photos of students and up-to-date information for the community. Built on a Drupal platform, I learned how to work with that content management system, and acted as the primary webmaster, managing all aspects of content on the site for two years. Developer Green Egg Media continued to host and manage security and functionality of the site.
